Every year – there are SO many things to talk about at VMworld and EMC World that I’ve started to realize that I need to break down the posts, and then have a little “link library” post where people can jump between topics.
VMworld 2014 is no different! This week will be filled with news from many, new technology (including cool tech previews), and controversial VMware, EMC, and Federation topics to discuss!
(and I’m sure a few silly things too :-)
Without further ado – here’s my VMworld 2014 Link Library (I’ll update as I post - and also include 3rd party links that really caught my attention):
Day 1:
- VMworld 2014 - EVO:RAIL & the "Phylum of CI"
- VMworld 2014 - VMware vCloud Air and ViPR Object Storage
- VMworld 2014 – VIO – a few thoughts
- Third Party:
- NSX 6.1 – major enhancements (thanks Chris/Brad!) http://wahlnetwork.com/2014/08/25/nsx-6-1/
- VMware product name changes (important just to keep track of what’s going on – again thanks Chris): http://wahlnetwork.com/2014/08/25/vcloud-suite-vcloud-air-and-vrealize-cmp/
- Duncan’s post on EVO:RAIL here: http://blogs.vmware.com/tribalknowledge/2014/08/vmworld-2014-vmware-evorail-building-block-software-defined-data-center.html
- Something silly for Day 1: “Life in the Flash Lane”
Day 2:
Link "Life int the Flash Lane" is dead.
Thanks for the morning read!
