This was an internal thread too good to not share. Plus, there’s a huge (and growing like crazy) number of EMC XtremIO AFA customers who will love it! P.S. – ViPR automation integration with XtremIO is also right around the corner. Expect this to formally become part of EMC Storage Analytics (the formal vCOPS integration, logic, dashboards + an OEM of vCOPS that is a great way to start if people don’t already have it…)
From the always awesome Matt Cowger (thanks Matt!):

At the request of the VMworld HoL team, I rewrote my xtremio to vc ops adapter using the new XtremIO REST API, and also reworked the vC Ops bit as well to do a better job of connection pooling, etc.
If you would like to play with it, feel free to point it at your vC Ops 5.x and your XtremIO (needs to be 2.2 or 2.4 code)…it looks something like this:

Get it here!
Here at Blue Medora we love what you guys are doing with your vCOPs Management Packs for VMAX, VNX, and ExtremeIO.
We are planning on leveraging those management packs along with our own vCOPS Blue Medora management pack for Oracle (DB, RAC, and WebLogic), IBM (DB2, WebSphere), SAP HANA, and SAP CCMS via a set of "mashup" dashboards that provide visibility from App(s) down to storage.
