At VMworld we’re showing how EMC Storage Integrator (this is the “sibling” of EMC Virtual Storage Integrator aka VSI… ESI is focused at multi-hypervisor environments, Microsoft applications like SQL Server, Sharepoint and more, whereas VSI is squarely focused at VMware) can help orchestrate EMC storage.
vCenter Orchestrator is really cool – included in vSphere – but very powerful, and can orchestrate… pretty well anything (people sometimes incorrectly think it’s for VMware stuff only) with a little work. You can simply point it at the EMC storage integrator host, and then embed the EMC storage workflows into more sophisticated end-to-end workflows.
Check out the demo below…
You can download a high-rez version of the demo here in MP4 format, and here in WMV format.
This hasn’t GA’ed yet – but will soon – let us know if you want it!
Yes please...I have wanted this a very long time ;-)

Hi, Chad,
did I understood it correctly - EMC has a plugin for VMware vCO which is not GA now, but will be available soon? Is it possible to get a beta? We need it for large project, which would take some months, so we can use beta during POC and GA version in production.
Thanks
