This was a practical session on using VPLEX with vSphere, delivered by Scott Lowe. It covers a critical “do’s and don’ts” of using VPLEX with vSphere 4.0 and vSphere 4.1. The purpose is to cover the behaviors on partition at both the VPLEX cluster and the vSphere cluster layers (this is not just a storage thing) – and much of it would apply with other geographically stretched storage models (though they are all different).
