Job Description
The Virtualization Solutions Architect (SA) is a key member of Isilon’s Alliance & Solutions Marketing organization. The SA owns all aspects of technical evidence development, best practices guidance and thought leadership regarding virtualization, shared infrastructure and cloud computing ecosystems. The SA is particularly focused on VMware, but is also responsible for other virtualization technologies and solutions. The SA will work across the Isilon organization including Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing and Field Operations to lead Isilon’s efforts in the virtualization, shared infrastructure and cloud computing markets.
The SA works closely with Isilon’s Partners to conceive, develop and execute various deliverables that showcase Isilon’s capabilities in virtualized environments. The SA works across many teams, both technical and marketing, ensuring that joint solutions are supported with solid technical evidence and guidance to ensure customer satisfaction. The SA works closely with other members of the Isilon Alliances & Solutions Marketing organization to support and promote Partner marketing, technical enablement and GTM efforts.
